but somewhere in a fantasy
of what I wish I would have done
from the moment I first saw you,
saw that smile upon your face,
a hole in me filled up
with a love I cannot replace.
So as I kneel upon the ground,
remember it is just in fun,
just a fantasy inside of me of what I wish I could have done.
And know that in my heart, I forever live for you,
from the moment that just passed, past the moment you say,
"I do."

that after today,
you'll hang on to this poem
and not throw it away.
But I want you to lose it
wherever you can –-
just hide it somewhere
and don't read it again.
Then one day,
when life's got you stressed
and you climb to your room,
not feeling your best.
And you look around
at the clothes on the floor
and you wonder why
you keep buying more.
You convince yourself
you just need some rest,
but instead you try
to clean up this mess.
And maybe behind
a desk or a drawer,
you see a little poem
float down to the floor.
And though everything
is still out of place,
you smile at the sight
of a familiar face.
